the kitties were so pleased to have us both home all day! we all woke up this morning to freezing, slushy rain. it coated the tree branches like this:
and made the streets undriveable (they even halted bus service)
so we stayed inside all day, reading, napping, baking, trying to stay warm. mr. happy stuff helped clean up the after-party mess (really not too bad, considering there were about 40 people here last night)–actually, he did most of the cleaning up. he rocks. sometime in late morning, it turned to snow which gave the icy branches a new coat:
we talked on the phone to far away friends and family. we (and by “we” i once again mean “mostly mr. happy stuff.” toldja he rocks) slogged our way through taxes (hooray, they’re done!) and then our church decided to cancel services for this evening, so we spent the whole day…in our pajamas.
