mostly clean: day 4

breakfast smoothie:  watermelon, aronia berries, mango, kale???  i can’t remember.   they’re all starting to look and taste the same.  tasty, but not particularly distinctive.

lunch:  salad with–grilled chicken, lettuce, quinoa, chickpeas, cucumber, broccoli, blueberries, alfalfa sprouts, orange peppers (not clean!) and the lemon/oil/salt/hummus dressing from yesterday.

snacks:  avocado, rice crackers, mango, cherries, apple, ginger agave cashews (lunch did not fill me up today!)

supper smoothie:  watermelon, avocado, pineapple, cashew/cacao butter, kale–definitely different!  not necessarily my favorite, but the happy toddler came back for three sips (he doesn’t always) and the avocado just made it creamy, didn’t add any distinctive flavor.

hungry lots today.  weak headache for part of the afternoon.  much more alert than i thought i’d be after last night’s lack of sleep.  maybe i need to be drinking more water?  ran/walked 30 min. tonight after the happy toddler was in bed–how refreshing to run without pushing any strollers or tricycles (it was a hand-me-down) or anyone shouting “go, go, go!”
