this past week, the happy baby turned two years old. i suppose he needs a new blogname for real now. we had a lovely, low-key birthday celebration at home, then took a quick trip to texas to visit his birthfamily. this song and “twinkle, twinkle” (and sometimes a mash-up of the two) were heard frequently throughout the trip.
