although i was afraid that it might be crazy, i decided to attempt elsie marley’s kids clothes week challenge this time around because i knew that i was going to be on a family vacation and so i’d have time off of work. unfortunately, the house we were renting for the week had zero internet access and barely any telephone reception (cell or landline) and so i haven’t been able to post my progress here yet. but i did do some sewing (not sure if it was an hour a day, but any sewing at this point is a huge achievement for me (oh how i wish i were done with my master’s degree already!) and i did get a few cute pieces sewn including one that i had to create my own pattern for!). of course, i still don’t have photos of said pieces of clothing, but i’m posting this message as a reminder to myself that i need to get pictures of the clothes i already finished and maybe to try to sew something else on sunday (that’s the last day of the challenge, right?).
p.s. we had a wonderful time on our vacation, but i once again discovered that carrying a camera and a baby is usually inconvenient and most of the time the baby wins, so i have very few photos, but if i uncover anything awesome in my memory card, i’ll post some photos here.
