more fun in the mail

i was excited this year to be invited to participate in small fox’s first annual ornament swap.  my initial response had been that i was too busy to participate, but after a tiny bit of thought, i realized that i still had some felt ornaments that i’d made two years ago that i’d never gotten around to selling.  so i sent off these:

and got back these:

i especially love the little stripey girl in the foreground with the acorn cap, sitting on a clothespin.  she’s a small fox original and was my very favorite of that series.  thanks so much for organizing this fun swap!  it was exciting to open up the package and see the treasures i scored!  maybe next year we’ll actually stay home for christmas and get a tree….  in the meantime, my favorite ornament looks lovely on the decorative shelves in my bathroom. :)
