well, the color on this photo is a little off, but i just had to show you this autumnal deliciousness that almost made peeling that butternut squash worth it.  pasta with brown butter sage butternut squash and (optional) pecans.  i used less oil/butter than the recipe called for and i wish i’d used more pecans, but it was an excellent vehicle for a vegetable. i found it in wondertime magazine.  i don’t have the issue in front of me and i can’t find the recipe online, so if anyone really wants to know how to make this, you’ll have to ask me.
