yesterday, we visited an aquarium. i wasn’t really aaaaalllllllll that excited about it, but once we got in, i found myself fascinated with some of the bizarro creatures found underwater. the sea anemones and spiny urchins and starfish were just gorgeous. the penguins were really fun to watch (i love how they shoot up through the water to hop up onto land!). but i think the prettiest things i saw at the aquarium were the sea dragons (see photo). i didn’t realize that they weren’t just floating seaweed until mr. h-s pointed them out to me. so pretty.
