i found some grey jeggings, brand new with tags still on them, while thrifting last week. they were a bit more than i generally spend on thrifted pants and they were a bit tighter than i generally wear my pants and so i left them on the rack. and then talked myself into going back to the store and getting them (do you know how rare it is to find true “jeggings” at thrift stores? in a size i can cram my body into? in an interesting, but not garish color?). this morning i got brave enough to wear them. i wanted a picture but didn’t want to mess with a tripod and remote, so i just asked the little happy dude if he would take a picture of me.
considering that the camera was too heavy for him to hold gracefully while also trying to figure out this whole “put my eye next to the camera and look through the tiny hole” concept and also punch a button… he did really well.
then this afternoon i got a haircut and decided that it was worth it to use the remote, so i got these shots:
i may not have super skinny legs to go with my super skinny jeans, but i’m content with how these look on me. i do wish they had a slightly higher waistband as i kept having to hitch these up all day.
also, did you know that you can’t wear socks with jeggings unless you’re also wearing boots? i didn’t really put that together until i went to do a search on pinterest last night, but it’s true. flats, wedges or heels with no socks or…. boots. possibly socks if you’re wearing chucks, but that exception might only apply to guys. it was unclear.
also, i love my new haircut. ahhhh…..
