falling leaves

this morning, as i backed out of a parking space, i looked down the street to see falling yellow leaves dancing through the air. it’s one of those moments that don’t happen very often and which you can’t capture on film (unless you’re pretty lucky or engineer it) and which will have to remain a snapshot in my brain only. but i’m passing it on to you–picture a tree-lined street, morning sunshine, and yellow leaves dancing in the light on their way down to the ground.
