gingerbread houses

before we arrived at their house for our christmas visit, my brother-in-law had spent an afternoon with his mother making very cute (but undecorated) gingerbread houses based on this idea. they were so cute! (although he said he’d make them a little smaller if he made them again) one afternoon while we were there, i made a batch of icing and he brought out an arsenal of decorating tools and supplies and we all had fun decorating (or just licking) gingerbread houses. mr. happy stuff and i took some photos and i took some video and last night i mashed them all up into a little montage i hope you enjoy.
