i promised to show you the results of our door county crafting<\/a> when it arrived, so here are some photos:<\/p>\n

first, the fused glass pendants.\u00c2\u00a0 i’m pretty happy with the way they turned out.\u00c2\u00a0 i like some better than others.\u00c2\u00a0 like that sort of beer bottle shaped one in the bottom corner.\u00c2\u00a0 and the orange slice on the other side.\u00c2\u00a0 (mr. h-s helped with the orange slice.)<\/p>\n

i’ve already made one into a necklace–using silk cord that i bought in door county.\u00c2\u00a0 now i just need to go buy a few more jewelry bails to make the rest into pendants.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/p>\n

i also made some ceramic pendants.\u00c2\u00a0 some worked better than others….\u00c2\u00a0\u00c2\u00a0 aren’t the polka dots cute?!\u00c2\u00a0 i was inspired by bee designs<\/a> (i own one of her necklaces) and making these few bits made me really appreciate her jewelry even more.\u00c2\u00a0 hmmm… i just noticed how the top line of pieces in the photo above sort of looks like it spells “boo.”\u00c2\u00a0 spooky.<\/p>\n

and last but not least, here’s the bowl that mr. happy stuff painted for me while he was waiting for me to finish glazing the pendants above.\u00c2\u00a0 he picked out the bowl and painting it in my favorite blue and white stripes was completely his idea and i love it!\u00c2\u00a0 what is it about blue and white striped pottery?\u00c2\u00a0 swoon.<\/p>\n
