the other day, i was shopping at whole foods (a rare event as of late) and i browsed through their yogurt selection.\u00c2\u00a0 first, i saw stonyfield and other relatively usual yogurt brands.\u00c2\u00a0 then, i noticed that they carried <a href=\"http:\/\/www.rachelsorganic.co.uk\/products\/mood\/\">rachel&#8217;s yogurt <\/a>which i&#8217;d seen for the first time when we were in maui.\u00c2\u00a0 they have funky flavors like &#8220;relaxing&#8221; (plum honey &#038; lavender).\u00c2\u00a0 they were a bit expensive ($1.25), but i thought i&#8217;d splurge.\u00c2\u00a0 then, i noticed the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.skyr.com\/\">siggi&#8217;s yogurt <\/a>(at an eye-popping $2.59 apiece!) and thought, &#8220;in the quest for the very best yogurt, i am absolutely obligated to try this at least once.&#8221; so i bought the above carton of &#8220;pomegranate &#038; passion fruit&#8221; and tried it today with my lunch.\u00c2\u00a0 oh. my. goodness.\u00c2\u00a0 this is by far the thickest, yummiest yogurt i&#8217;ve ever tried.\u00c2\u00a0 note photo below:<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"414\" height=\"276\" src=\"http:\/\/lh4.google.com\/carissaabc\/R8dXobxLI5I\/AAAAAAAAEuM\/6LI-UPGGXxQ\/IMGP9858.JPG?imgmax=720\" \/><\/p>\n<p>i don&#8217;t think this yogurt would ever get that yucky pool of liquid that forms in most yogurt if you let it sit overnight&#8211;it&#8217;s already been strained.\u00c2\u00a0 it&#8217;s awesome.\u00c2\u00a0 just slightly sweet with a delicious yogurty tartness.\u00c2\u00a0 i&#8217;m also impressed by its simple list of ingredients&#8211;skim milk, agave nectar [for sweetness], passion fruit, pomegranate, live active cultures, vegetable rennet.\u00c2\u00a0 that&#8217;s it.\u00c2\u00a0 nothing i can&#8217;t pronounce.\u00c2\u00a0 no gelatin, no artificial sweetener, just goodness.\u00c2\u00a0 and it&#8217;s made with rbgh-free skim milk!\u00c2\u00a0 there is 0% fat!\u00c2\u00a0 and it&#8217;s so thick!\u00c2\u00a0 there are only 120 calories, but it&#8217;s the most filling yogurt i&#8217;ve ever eaten.\u00c2\u00a0 i&#8230;.. may have to splurge again.<\/p>\n<p>apparently, <a href=\"http:\/\/blogorelli.typepad.com\/b_l_o_g_o_r_e_l_l_i\/2008\/02\/to-hell-with-th.html\">i&#8217;m not alone<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.creelefavour.com\/on-the-plate\/2007\/11\/2\/siggis-skyr-yogurt.html\">in this<\/a> <a href=\"http:\/\/www.strumerika.com\/2008\/02\/07\/siggis-the-yogurt-of-the-gods\/\">spontaneous urge to shower praise on siggi<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>so&#8230;
