i’m trying to remember what i did today and i can’t remember.\u00c2\u00a0 i didn’t have to go to work and the roads were yucky enough that i didn’t want to leave the house, so i stayed home and got caught up on some of the little things that i normally let slide for way too long.\u00c2\u00a0 lots of laundry.\u00c2\u00a0 made
\nirish oatmeal with apricots, dried cherries and sliced banana on top for breakfast.\u00c2\u00a0 crock-potted an enormous batch of black beans.\u00c2\u00a0 finished the rest of my homework that was due today.\u00c2\u00a0 started on another quilt.<\/p>\n
i did enjoy walking outside this morning and hearing the “clack, clack” of the icy tree branches knocking together in the wind.\u00c2\u00a0 sort of like a giant, bamboo windchime as big as my whole neighborhood.<\/p>\n
there is something quite relaxing about not being able to run errands and just staying home.\u00c2\u00a0 crafting with the supplies i have on hand.\u00c2\u00a0 creating meals with the food already in my pantry, fridge and freezer.\u00c2\u00a0 what’s your favorite “staple” meal?\u00c2\u00a0 the meal you can (almost) always cook on a moment’s notice because it only has ingredients that you pretty much always have on hand?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
