the other day, one of my co-workers was trying to balance the cash drawer and was getting frustrated and i overheard her say, “oh, sugar beans, booger beans!” and it made me laugh. it also reminded me of a long-ago boss of mine who used a similar “silly swear” of “oh, beans.” when she was a little frustrated and “oh, bean soup!” when she was a little more frustrated. i’m not sure where i picked it up, but my favorite silly swear for the last few years has been “poo bunnies!” i know it doesn’t make any more sense than “booger beans” but it seems to serve the purpose of venting frustration and also making me (and anyone listening) laugh, immediately diffusing the situation. i am also fond of the more standard, “fiddlesticks.” what’s your favorite silly swear?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
