\ni just love ranunculus. (spell check told me that was wrong and the best they could come up with to fix it was “carbuncular” ha!) they are so pretty. they don’t last long and they’re usually on the pricey side (considering their size) but i like to treat myself to some at least once a year. i bought a small bunch of them earlier this week at a florist shop with birthday money from my grandma (thanks grandma b!). i splurged and got the locally grown ones. partially because they made me feel more earth-friendly and virtuous, partially because they were in better condition because they hadn’t traveled as far, and partially because the shop lady pointed out this funky cool variety that was a part of the locally grown collection.

\nthe best part? that flower was a two-fer! (they were priced per stem and there were two blooms on one stem) bonus!
