the past few weeks, on my way to class, i’ve seen art students carrying various art pieces down the street. i suppose that i’m assuming when i say they’re students–i have no proof of that. perhaps it’s early morning art-shoppers? anyway, there is something nice about seeing someone with a sculpture tucked under their arm or walking with a large stretched canvas oil painting held in both hands as they walk down the sidewalk. something that takes away a bit of the reverence of art galleries and brings it back to, “here’s this thing i made. like it?”<\/p>\n
the pool is back to 50m lane lengths! hooray! i can get a quarter mile swim done in 4 laps instead of 8! you’d think i’d be able to keep count of my laps more easily, wouldn’t you? but somehow i lost count today and i’m not sure if i swam 8 laps or 9.<\/p>\n
spinning monday nights at the home of friends who cook excellent food.<\/p>\n
