ok, so tv is evil and i try to avoid it … sometimes. but sometimes it can also show very funny things and can be fluffy brain candy when i need some. on rare occasions, even commercials can make me laugh (click on the crab<\/a>) but only if they’re not over played. currently, the only tv show i watch with any regularity is the daily show (it’s where i get my news). last night, it was a re-run, so mr. h-s and i switched over to adult swim on the cartoon network and watched a few ‘toons. we discovered at 11:00 that apparently they are now showing peewee’s playhouse (i assume they are old re-runs of the show–i don’t think paul reubens is making new ones. if so, then they should update carlos’ workout clothes). i used to watch this show all the time with my sister. we even taped it and once had a peewee marathon over thanksgiving when the cousins came to visit (oh my aching head! the peewee giggle rang throughout the house all weekend!). last night’s episode was one i don’t remember ever seeing (they all sort of blur together). the secret word was “out.” hmmmm… anyway, the part that made me laugh out loud (and don’t judge me–it was late at night!) was when he went over to his giant toy mess and pulled out a pair of “giant underpants”! which was precisely what they were. giant tighty-whitey underpants. then he proceeded to put them on his head, wrapped up like a turban, then he pulled them down and around “like a nun!”, then he stuck his arms through the leg holes and pointed out that they could be worn like a “suave vest” or, you could further pull the edge down so that it was around your butt and have a swing! oh the irreverence. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
