today, i stopped at j. kinney florist (the one with the cats) to pick up flowers for my boss’ birthday. i chose some lovely purple anemones and lysanthus (sp?) and i asked about some cut orchid stems that were sitting near the cash register. the clerk told me that they were normally $7 a stem but that today they were giving away one free stem with each bouquet purchased. hooray! and the fuscia color looks gorgeous with all of the purple. such a lovely little shop….<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
