fabric snack bag pattern

i recently created a pattern for fabric snack bags to be included in an upcoming book called seasoned with peace (see more about the book here).  they only had space to publish one version of the pattern and i got a bit carried away and made three variations (two from button-down shirts), so i’ve gotten permission to post a pdf with all three versions here on my blog.  i am not the first person to come up with this pattern (in fact, the basic shape was heavily influenced by the wonderful video tutorial by angry chicken–go watch that if you’re still confused by my written instructions), but this is the first pattern i’ve made with hand-drawn diagrams and i’m pretty pleased with the way those turned out.  (i still catch myself thinking, “huh.  i can actually draw! neat-o!”)

if you’d like to see all three variations on the pattern, go here.
